7pm - short showcase of spoken word poetry
7:30 - Worcester Youth Poetry Slam #3 - top three scoring youth poets (age 13-19) earn points towards making 2010 Team traveling to BNV Youth Festival in Los Angeles, CA
8:45 - Feature Poet Performance
9:30 - Clark University Poetry Slam Prelim #3 - winner gets a shot at representing Clark at 2010 CUPSI Tournament in Boston!
The event is free & open to the public. Please RSVP for a spot in the poetry slam. Youth slam open to any area teen who wishes to perform. Clark Slam open to all Clark U. students and employees.
Free... but we do pass the proverbial bucket and ask for a $5 suggested donation to help raise $$$ so the teams can travel to their respective poetry slam tournaments. ATM available in the building. Merchandise will also be made available.
