The exhibition at Holy Cross will house 75 historical objects and additional mementos of present-day pilgrimages, such as the clothing worn on the Muslim Pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca. The exhibition will then travel to the Loyola University Museum of Art, Chicago, the University of Richmond, Richmond Virginia, and the Rubin Museum of Art, New York City before closing in October 2011. The exhbition is funded in part by a grant from the National Endowment fro the Arts. Trained student tour guides are available for individual or for groups.
